Panaget publishes its first Impact Report

Founded in 1929, Panaget has early on demonstrated its societal and environmental commitment through its determination to produce quality wood flooring without compromising on the ecological impact of its manufacturing process and while respecting its employees and partners.

Always present at its historic site in Bourgbarré, the company is recognized throughout the industry for its specificities: the use of 100% French oak and French manufacturing, undisputed industrial expertise, integration of design, and innovative R&D…

This first impact report published by Panaget is an illustration of its commitment to improving its practices in the years to come to preserve the values and identity of the company. It provides a transparent assessment of the challenges and impacts related to its activities.

A demand from the final consumer and thus from Panaget’s distributor clients

Sustainable products have been the DNA of Panaget since 1929! Its entire policy aims to provide customers with healthy, quality, and sustainable products manufactured in France while respecting natural resources. This also responds to the individual consumer who increasingly seeks locally made products through short supply chains. Products with low environmental impact are becoming a priority for distributors in selecting their offerings and thus their suppliers. For example, Leroy Merlin’s “Home Index” classifies products based on their environmental and social impact, assigning them a visible rating for the end consumer.

This 52-page guide provides a clear and precise idea of Panaget’s ambitious strategy for sustainable and balanced development, relying on several environmental indicators (raw materials, product life cycle, wood waste recovery, energy balance, water management, employee well-being, job evolution, training, etc.). “It should serve as a guide for our investment strategy and help us prioritize actions to be taken. Beyond the decarbonization of our products, it is an engagement tool that constitutes the beginnings of an improvement in the CSR approach at Panaget to produce better with less!” concludes Carole François, CEO of Panaget.
